Infiniti introduces Q70 Premium Select Edition in United States
Infiniti has taken the wraps off the Q70 Premium Select Edition destined for the U.S. market. It will be shown in public for the first time later this month during the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and will start hitting dealerships in November at a yet undisclosed price tag. It can be visually distinguished by its slightly different exterior featuring a dark chrome trim, black rear bumper insert and a spoiler mounted on the trunk. It also gets unique 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped around in all-season performance tires while inside the cabin it adopts semi-aniline leather seats together with a suede-like headliner. Also noticeable are the illuminated sill plates, aluminum trim and bespoke floor mats featuring contrast stitching.
As far as the engine choices are concerned, the 2016 Infiniti Q70 Premium Select Edition can be had with a V6 3.7-liter unit that develops 330 bhp and a maximum torque of 270 lb-ft. If this isn’t enough, customers can upgrade to a larger V8 5.6-liter engine which pumps out 420 bhp and 417 lb-ft of torque. Both of them work as standard with a rear-wheel drive layout, but at an additional cost the car can be specified with the optional all-wheel drive system.
