Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge concept impresses Geneva crowd

Infiniti is currently showcasing at the 84th Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland the Q50 Eau Rouge concept which comes with the same engine as the mighty Nissan GT-R. We are dealing with a V6 3.8-liter twin-turbo gasoline engine that in this application can deliver 568 bhp and a peak torque of 600 Nm. Power is sent to an all-wheel drive system through a seven-speed automatic transmission which enables the model to perform the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in less than 4 seconds before topping out at around 180 mph (290 km/h).

Infiniti hasn’t said anything about a potential production version based on the Q50 Eau Rouge concept but they did say the regular Q50 will soon be available with a 4-cylinder turbocharged engine outputting 214 bhp and 320 Nm. The engine will be linked to a seven-speed automatic gearbox sending power to the rear wheels and it will be available at first in China in the next couple of months while Europe will get it this fall.
