Mitsubishi facelifts the Pajero in Japan
The Pajero is in need of an all-new generation but Mitsubishi has decided to extend the lifespan of the current model by at least a couple of years through a facelift bringing modest revisions. Already on sale in Japan, the 2015 Pajero comes with a slightly modified front fascia boasting an updated grille while on the upper-spec versions you get a new spare tire cover and LED daytime running lights. Motorization is provided by two engines, either a four-cylinder 3.2-liter turbodiesel or a larger and thirstier V6 3.0-liter gasoline motor.
As far as the interior cabin is concerned, the 2015 Mitsubishi Pajero facelift has received more sound deadening material, additional metallic trim while VR II variants also come with new piano black accents. Opt for the Exceed and Super Exceed models and you receive a wood grain trim.
At home in Japan, the facelifted Pajero has a starting price of ¥2,921,400, without taking into consideration all the taxes.
