Mitsubishi is introducing the 2015MY Lancer Evolution which is actually the last model year for the iconic car. The vehicle has already been phased out in many countries but the United States get it for one more model year where it’s offered with updated exterior mirrors and a different cup holder inside the cabin. The Evo GSR also features a Premium Package encompassing the goodies found in the Sight and Sound Package along with leather upholstery, heated front seats, additional sound deadening material and a power sunroof.
The flagship Evo MR adds automatic headlights, color-keyed heat extractor vents, rain-sensing windshield wipers and more chrome trim. Mitsubishi has also fitted this variant with a nine-speaker Rockford Fosgate audio system, extra sound deadening material, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a passive entry system.
Under the hood of the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 291 bhp (217 kW) and 406 Nm (300 lb-ft) of torque sent to the all-wheel drive system through a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed twin-clutch sportronic shift transmission.
