All-new Skoda Superb fully revealed

The 2015 Skoda Superb has made its world premiere this week at a special event organized in Prague, Czech Republic. Looking a lot more refined than its predecessor, the all-new Superb comes with an 80mm longer wheelbase, standard LED taillights and optional bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights. The front overhangs have been reduced while the side profile shows a “tornado line” which spans over the entire length of the mid-size hatchback.

Stepping inside the cabin, the overhauled Superb can be had with a plethora of goodies ranging from a panoramic glass roof, heated seats, 12-speaker Canon audio system and a tri-zone climate control system. It boasts no less than 29 “Simply Clever” features such as umbrellas in the front doors, an LED flashlight and a rear seat tablet holder.

In terms of engines, there are five gasoline motors with outputs ranging from 125 HP (92 kW) to 280 HP (206 kW) while the diesels have between 120 HP (88 kW) and 190 HP (140 kW). All of them work with a six-speed manual gearbox or an optional DSG (except for the base gasoline engine). Half of the engines can be optionally had with an all-wheel drive system.

The 2015 Skoda Superb is programmed to go on sale in June.
