Nissan is now selling at home in Japan the Note Nismo and Note Nismo S niche models which can be had with a black silver, gray or white exterior paint scheme combined with red accents. The Note Nismo rides on 16-inch alloy wheels whereas the Nismo S gets larger 17-inch rims, with both of the versions benefiting from suspension upgrades, LED daytime running lights and shark fin antenna. The Note Nismo S also gets aluminum pedals, unique shift knob, suede upholstery and a sportier gauge cluster.
Under the hood of the Nissan Note Nismo is a supercharged three-cylinder 1.2-liter engine working with a CVT transmission while the hotter Note Nismo S gets a bigger four-cylinder 1.6-liter motor sending 138 bhp to the front wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. The S derivative also comes with brake discs for all wheels, a high-flow intake and a sportier exhaust system.
