Nissan unveils Kicks concept for 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show

Nissan has taken the wraps off the Kicks concept prior to the vehicle’s official debut tomorrow at the Sao Paulo Motor Show. This previews a forthcoming compact crossover which will be sold initially in Brazil but there are some chances of seeing it elsewhere, possibly as a more affordable alternative to the Juke. The concept was created at the firm’s design studios in North and South America who envisioned the Kicks with roof rails, beefy bumpers, large wheel arches and big side skirts. It sits on 19-inch alloys and has received Nissan’s corporate V-shaped front grille with a big logo in the center.

There’s no word regarding what powers the Nissan Kicks concept but we do know that it is 4.3 meters long, 1.8 meters wide and 1.6 meters tall, with a 2.62-meter wheelbase. The subcompact crossover is actually a follow-up to Nissan’s EXTREM concept which was unveiled back in 2012 at the Sao Paulo Motor Show.

The production version will likely come out sometime next year on in 2016 for the Brazilian market.
