Nissan unveils next generation Navara

Nissan has introduced online the next generation of the Navara which as you can see has lost some of its rugged looks as the company went for a more refined styling approach. It will be offered with new paint choices called The Earth Bronze and Savannah Yellow while on the inside it will boast a high-res TFT screen built into the instrument cluster and showing details like radio content, turn-by-turn navigation support, fuel economy indicator and audio track. The cabin benefits from more premium materials and also features faux aluminum accents for a more upscale feel.
From a mechanical point of view, the 2015 Nissan Navara has an updated high-strength chassis as well as a revised leaf suspension. Under the hood there’s a tweaked 2.5-liter four-cylinder DOHC diesel engine with 163 PS and 403 Nm as well as with 190 PS and 450 Nm. Nissan is also offering a 2.5-liter inline-four gasoline motor that has also been updated. These engines are coupled to a standard 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional 7-speed automatic transmission.
Nissan says the Navara’s 4×4 system can be turned on even when the car is in motion while the driver benefits from a wide array of assistance systems such as Active Brake Limited Slip, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control and Vehicle Dynamic Control.
