Range Rover Evoque Desert Warrior 3 gets a BMW diesel engine

You are looking at an off-road racer version of the Range Rover Evoque that was created in order to participate in the 2013 FIA Off Road Rally Championship as well as in the 2014 edition of the famous Dakar Rally. Although it is based on the Evoque, various modifications had to be made so that the vehicle would be eligible to participate in various rallying competitions from all over the world. This car belongs to RaBe Race Cars and comes with a huge fuel tank with a capacity of 68.8 gallons (260 liters) that should be enough for a maximum driving range of 746 miles (1200 km).

At the heart of the vehicle is BMW-sourced inline-six turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel engine that generates 271 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque, but with any restrictions it can pump out no less than 345 hp. The engine is linked to a six-speed sequential transmission that drives all the wheels of this 4,189 pounds (1,900 kg) racer. Other modifications include a specially designed chassis manufactured from T45 tubes and bespoke wheels.
