Suzuki launches Swift X-TRA in Germany

Suzuki’s German division has recently launched a special edition of the firm’s best-selling model, the Swift. Known as the “X-TRA”, this new version is based on the 5-door Swift Club model and comes with a Bison Brown Metallic finish which is available only for this model.

There are other colors to choose from for the Swift X-TRA, such as the Silky Silver Metallic, Cosmic Black Perl Metallic, Galactic Gray Metallic, Ablaze Red Pearl Metallic and Cool White Pearl Metallic. The car comes nicely equipped with an MP3-compatible CD radio featuring a USB port and steering wheel-mounted controls.

Also as standard equipment we should mention seven airbags, tinted windows, roof spoiler and air conditioning system featuring a pollen filter. Under the hood it can only get a 1.2-liter gasoline engine pumping out a modest 94 HP which enables the car to have a fuel consumption of 5 liters / 100 km (56.5 mpg UK or 47 mpg US), with CO2 emissions standing at 116 g/km.

Already available on order, the German-exclusive Suzuki Swift X-TRA can be yours if you are willing to pay at least 14,290 euros (approximately $18,800). Suzuki hasn’t said anything about the number of units they plan on making within this special edition.
