Suzuki UK reveals pricing info for new SX4 S-Cross

Suzuki’s UK division has disclosed pricing info for the second generation of the SX4 which has received the S-Cross moniker. UK customers will have the possibility of ordering the car in one of the four trim levels: SZ3, SZ4, SZ-T and SZ5. Regardless of the chosen version, all come with ESP and seven airbags as standard equipment. The base SZ3 is priced at 14,999 pounds and has electric mirrors, MP3-compatible stereo, cruise control, 16-inch alloys and air conditioning. SZ4 can be yours from 16,249 pounds and adds 17-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth, front fog lights, keyless go and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

For 17,749 pounds the SZ-T includes a chrome styling package, rear parking sensors, rear parking camera, satellite-navigation and DAB radio. The flagship SZ5 costs 19,749 pounds and encompasses leather seats (front ones are heated), double-sliding panoramic roof, automatic headlights and auto-dimming rearview camera.


Power comes from either a 1.6-liter gasoline or a 1.6-liter diesel engine, with both of them producing 118 bhp (88 kW). Depending on engine and trim choice, Suzuki is offering a five-speed manual, six-speed manual or a CVT. FWD is standard but SZ-T and SZ5 can be bought with Suzuki’s four-wheel drive system called ALLGRIP.

The 2013 Suzuki SX4 S-Cross will be going on sale in United Kingdom on October 1.
