Suzuki has decided to resurrect the “Vitara” moniker with a production version of the iV-4 concept that was showcased at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany last September. The vehicle will be shown in full at the beginning of October during the Paris Motor Show and will go on sale next spring in United Kingdom. As standard, the Vitara will come with a front-wheel drive layout but an optional all-wheel drive system called ALLGRIP and borrowed from the SX4 S-Cross will be available for those willing to pay more.
Under the hood there will be several gasoline and diesel engines which will help the 2015 Suzuki Vitara provide one of the lowest CO2 emissions and fuel consumptions in this segment. The Japanese automaker says the Vitara will be available with many personalization options including a variety of trims and colors.
