Volkswagen prepares Beetle Cabriolet Karmann Edition at AMI Leipzig

Volkswagen has introduced several days ago at AMI Leipzig 2014 the Beetle Cabriolet Karmann Edition which as the name implies celebrates Karmann, the creator of many Beetle Cabriolets between the years 1949 and 1980. This special edition can be had in one of the seven different exterior paints and all of them are going to feature a bespoke Sioux Brown power-folding soft roof. It also wears special badging and has received Disc-style 18-inch alloy wheels.

As far as the interior cabin is concerned, the Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet Karmann Edition adopts two-tone sport seats, alloy pedals and a leather-covered steering wheel. Other goodies would have to be the wind deflector, Karmann-branded door sill plates and a matte aluminum dashboard.

The vehicle is programmed to go on sale next month and will be available with the all the engines and gearbox of the regular Beetle Cabriolet.
