Volvo’s Switzerland division teamed up with Heico Sportiv to develop a limited-run edition of the V40 which will be sold with the Sport 200 designation. The car will be showcased for the first time at Auto Zurich where it will show off its bespoke exterior design featuring body side graphics, along with 10-inch VOLUTION alloy wheels and a quad exhaust setup. Other than that, the vehicle boasts a sport-tuned suspension while the interior cabin has gained aluminum pedals, black leather seats and stainless steel door sill plates. Leather and Alcantara were used to cover the hand brake lever and the gear knob.
Under the hood of the Volvo V40 Sport 200 is a 4-cylinder, 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that has been tweaked in order to output 200 HP (147 kW). The Swedish marque says production will be limited to just 200 units and each will carry a starting price of 49,900 CHF.
