What we have here in these leaked patent drawings is the upcoming GranCoupe version of the BMW 4-Series Coupe which will essentially be a four-door version or a mini 6-Series GranCoupe as some like to describe the model. This new derivative of the recently established 4-Series lineup will likely be unveiled in first part of 2014 expect to see a March reveal at the Geneva Motor Show. Compared to the regular 4-Series Coupe, the GranCoupe variant is rumored to come with a slightly stretched wheelbase which will provide additional legroom for the passengers sitting in the back.
As far as the engine lineup is concerned, this will most likely be borrowed from the 4-Series Coupe and should kick off with a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder outputting 240 bhp. There will also be a considerably more powerful 3.0-liter 6-cylinder good for a solid 300 bhp.
