The 2016 Chevrolet Impala Midnight Edition has officially been introduced and it comes with a bunch of black accents. These are supposed to enable the model have a “sinister, dramatic style” as a result of applying a Jet Black paint on the full-size sedan which comes with body-colored exterior side mirror caps. It also has 19-inch machine-faced alloy wheels with black accents while the front grille and its surround also adopt a black look. Similarly, Chevrolet has applied a black theme on both front and end bowties and there’s also a black spoiler at the back.
Stepping inside the cabin, the 2016 Chevrolet Impala Midnight Edition comes with a Jet Black theme and has received a set of sport pedals. Chevrolet is asking between $995 and $1,595 for these cosmetics tweaks which can be applied only on the 1LT, 2LT and LTZ trim levels. Engine choices include a 2.5-liter with start/stop tech and a 3.6-liter V6 billed by Chevy as being the most NA motor in its class.
This cosmetic package is available primarily for the 2016 model year, but several units in 2LT trim and with the 2.5-liter engine will be offered for the current 2015MY.
