Toyota introduces 2013 Land Cruiser

Toyota released this week the eagerly awaited facelift for the Land Cruiser which doesn’t bring a significant amount of cosmetic changes for the off-roader. We notice the implementation of a larger front grille and reshaped headlights, while at the back there is a new license plate garnish and tweaked taillights. It will be offered with new alloy wheel choices and several exterior paint schemes such as Dark Green Mica, Dark Blue Mica, Bronze Mica Metallic and Attitude Black Mica. Toyota says these changes further concentrate the car’s “toughness, reliability and outstanding off-road performance.”

Moving inside the cabin, there’s a different instrument cluster, new trim and better second and third row seats. The 2013 Land Cruiser facelift also comes with a redesigned center stack that has a modified audio control panel, as well as a new dial for the Multi-terrain Select system which features Crawl Control speed adjustment. The cabin is also equipped with a 4.2-inch display providing support during off-road adventures.

The 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser will be sold in Europe with a V6 4.0-liter gasoline engine delivering 282 HP and 385 Nm, along with a 4-cylinder, 3.0-liter turbodiesel rated at 190 HP.
