Arrinera reveals production version of Hussarya supercar

We won’t blame you if the Arrinera name doesn’t sound familiar because this is an unknown automaker from Poland which today has revealed its first production model, the Hussarya. It’s actually a follow-up to a concept showed several years ago but with a far more attractive design created by Pavlo Burkatskyy. The vehicle draws its power from a General Motors-derived 6.2-liter V8 engine developing 650 bhp and a maximum torque of 818 Nm transferred to the rear wheels with help from a CIMA-developed automated-manual gearbox equipped with paddle shifters.

Arrinera mentions the 2014 Hussarya production version needs only 3.2 seconds to get from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) and 11 seconds to run the quarter mile en route to a maximum speed of 211 mph (340 km/h).

The vehicle weighs 1,315 kg and has a high-strength steel chassis while composite materials were used for the body panels. Production of the model will kick off several months from now and the company wants to make about 100 units annually at a yet undisclosed price tag.
