Audi showcases RS Q3 in the snow
Audi has released a new promotional video with the RS Q3 which as you might remember was show to the public earlier this month during the 83rd edition of the Geneva Motor Show. The car is scheduled to hit the market this fall and will cost in Germany at least 54,600 euros for the base model. Compared to the regular variant, the RS version has been lowered by 25mm and can be equipped with 19- or 20-inch alloys. It also has a roof-mounted spoiler, rear diffuser, elliptical tailpipe and matte aluminum trim. The more masculine body kit brings modified bumpers, revised side skirts and honeycomb front grille inserts.
The heart and soul of the Audi RS Q3 is a turbocharged 2.5-liter, 5-cylinder gasoline engine with 310 HP (228 kW) and a peak torque of 420 Nm (310 lb-ft). This is linked to a seven-speed S tronic transmission and the proprietary quattro all-wheel drive system which enables the hot crossover to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.5 seconds, en route to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) which we should mention that it is electronically limited.
