BMW introduces the M235i xDrive Coupe

BMW is proud to announce the market introduction of the M235i xDrive Coupe which will effectively go on sale this summer. This is basically the xDrive all-wheel drive version of the M235i Coupe but due to the AWD arrangement it now weighs 1,525 kg (3,362 lbs) which has increased the fuel consumption to 7.8 liters / 100 km. Under the hood it’s the same 6-cylinder 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine outputting 326 PS and a maximum torque of 450 Nm. Just like in the rear-wheel drive version, the power unit is working closely together with an 8-speed Speedtronic sports gearbox.
The M235i xDrive does the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h), whereas the rear-wheel drive M235i Coupe needs 5 seconds until 100 km/h with the 6-speed manual gearbox and 4.8 seconds when configured with the aforementioned 8-speed ‘box.
