G-Power launches BMW M3 GT2 R with 720 HP

You probably have heard by now that production of the BMW M3 Coupe (E92) has ended, but this didn’t stop G-Power to create yet another tuning program for the high-performance German coupe. It’s known as the M3 GT2 R and is a follow-up to their 2010 M3 GT2 S kit which offered 600 HP and 528 Nm. These numbers have now grown to an impressive 720 HP and 700 Nm, all wrapped around in a car which tips the scales at less than 3,306 lbs (1,500 kg). Thanks to the added power and reduced weight, it will do 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds and 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) in 9.5 seconds.

With a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h), the G-Power M3 GT2 R is certainly an impressive M3 which has gone through an engine displacement expansion from the stock 4.0 to 4.6 liters. It has also received 20-inch Silverstone RS rims, a coilover suspension kit and a new braking kit encompassing six-piston brake calipers featuring 396mm rotors at the front axle and four-piston calipers with 380mm rotors at the back.

The interior now has a FIA-approved rollcage and carbon racing bucket seats, while the rear seat bench has been removed.
