Mazzanti Evantra V8 launched

The production variant of the long-awaited Evantra V8 has finally been revealed by Mazzanti Automobili last week during the 2013 Top Marques Monaco. The two-seater coupe can be had with either a carbon fiber composite material body or with an aluminum body. Under the hood it gets a naturally-aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine rated at 701 bhp and 625 lb-ft.

The power unit is mated to a six-speed manual or a sequential transmission. It hits 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and is able to reach a top speed in excess of 217 mph (350 km/h). The vehicle tips the scales at 2,866 lbs (1,300 kg).

It has the following dimensions: 4325mm length, 1225mm height and 1955mm width, with a 2550mm wheelbase. The Mazzanti Evantra V8 sits on OZ 20-inch wheels with Continental tires and has a Brembo braking system. At an additional cost, the car can be ordered with carbon ceramic brakes. It has received a Nardi steering wheel that shows the current gear via a small display, while on the lower section of the console there’s a modality selector with various driving modes. It has also been equipped with a Bosch headunit, an AIM dash and data acquisition system, plus bespoke aniline leather.
