Mercedes-Benz has disclosed more details about the GLA Edition 1 which will be available on order starting November while deliveries will commence in March 2014. The special edition will be based on the GLA Urban and will come with black accents, bi-xenon headlights and chromed roof rails, while other goodies will include 19-inch lightweight AMG wheels and tinted windows. Customers will be able to get the car in one of the following exterior paint hues: designo magno mountain grey, mountain grey metallic, orient brown metallic and cirrus white which will be exclusive to this special edition model.
Moving inside the cabin we find a flat-bottomed steering wheel, nut brown leather & Alvorada fabric seats, as well as bespoke floor mats, an aluminum trim and black roof liner. Mercedes-Benz will fit the GLA Edition 1 with automatic windscreen wipers, illuminated door sill plates and ambient lightning.
Engine lineup will encompass a 156 HP 1.6-liter 4-cylinder, a 211 HP 2.0-liter 4-cylinder and a 2.2-liter diesel which will be offered with 136 HP and 170 HP.
