Rev up Those Bank Balances: Here Are Three Upcoming Cars You Don’t Want to Miss

We’re just past the first quarter of 2017 and already we’ve seen a couple of excellent cars coming out and touring through our streets. The Audi A5 Cabriolet is one such example, completing the Audi A5 range and giving us an iconic car with some new and improved inner workings. But what else do we have to look forward to this year? Let’s find out.

If you’re in the market for a new supercar then look no further than the Lamborghini Huracán RWD Spyder. This rear-wheel-drive supercar is sure to turn heads if you’re cruising down a busy street or a long stretch of countryside scenery. This 580-horsepower V10 powered beast is a monstrous and powerful car that is capable of pushing 62mph in just 3.6 seconds, and it’s also about 70 pounders lighter than the all-wheel version of the Huracán Spyder. Just keep in mind that a RWD Huracán will set you back $219,780, so start saving your hard-earned cash now or consider a car loan for bad credit if you really want to own a stylish piece of history. Just make sure you can pay it back because the last thing you want is to have your flashy new Lamborghini repossessed or stolen!

Aston Martin V8 Vantage

The newest release from Aston Martin has already been spotted in the UK way ahead of its late release. Pre-production prototypes have been spotted in several places and they have very little in common with their older counterparts. The sightings have shown that the new Vantage looks eerily similar to the DB11, but it’s important to note that these are pre-production models and are likely borrowing some parts. However, even if most of the bodywork has been borrowed, it’s likely that everything underneath the exterior is what we’ll be seeing in the future. The new Aston Martin V8 Vantage is likely to be in the neighbourhood of $150,000 to $200,000, close to the price of a new DB11.

Honda Civic Type R

At the Geneva Motor Show, Honda unveiled their all-new Civic Type R. Based on the current-generation Civic, the new Type R is due in dealers sometime between summer and autumn this year and will likely be somewhere around $40,000. Honda says they aim to increase performance all across the board, such as the dynamic performance, track driving experience and its speed. The Type R is fitted with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder VTEC, giving it 316bhp and 400Nm of torque. Honda is going all-out with their promotional material too as they aim to reclaim the Nürburgring front-wheel drive lap record which is currently being held by the VW Golf GTI Clubsport S at 7:47.19.

2017 and beyond is looking to be a fantastic time for motoring enthusiasts and the choices are getting harder and harder to narrow down. Save up that cash, break into your savings account, and start revving up those bank balances because 2017 to 2018 is a year you do not want to miss.
