Subaru will be showcasing next month at the Tokyo Motor Show this LEVORG concept which is being characterized as a “sports tourer”. The car represents a preview to an upcoming production model slated for a 2014 market release. Under the hood it has an all-new, direct-injection turbo horizontally-opposed 1.6-liter engine while some of the tech included will be the EyeSight driver assist system that provides steering support control and comes with several new safety functions. If by any chance you were curious about the origins of the “LEVORG” name, you should know it comes from mixing “Legacy” with “revolution” and “touring.”
Besides LEVORG, Subaru will also exhibit the Cross Sport concept that serves as a preview for a next generation SUV. It will be 4.3 meters long and promises to combine a comfortable interior cabin with a lot of stowage spaces.
There will also be a third concept in the form of a Crossover 7 which will provide seating for up to seven people on tan leather-covered seats inside a spacious cabin.
