Volkswagen facelifts the Touareg
German automaker Volkswagen has prepared a mild facelift for the Touareg and they have unveiled it earlier this week in China at the Beijing Motor Show. The changes are rather subtle as only the fascias have been revised, with the biggest change being the adoption of larger bi-xenon headlights as standard equipment. In addition, the Touareg will now be offered with white illumination for the controls, fresh leather colors and a standard coasting function.
Those who opt for the V6 TDI engine will also be rewarded with a catalytic convertor and the fact that the engine is now Euro 6 compliant. Volkswagen has also added Street View, Google Earth as well as “online traffic information.”
Sales of the facelifted VW Touareg are programmed to kick off this summer.
