Volvo S60, V60 and XC60 receive a facelift

It’s been a big week for Volvo as they have refreshed almost their entire lineup. In this article we talk about the updated S60, V60 and XC60 models which have received a new front fascia sporting single-piece headlights and a wider grille. At the back there’s a new exhaust system, updated taillights, along with a different look for the alloys. On the inside it packs a Sensus Connect Touch infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, silk metal accents, revised trim and slightly modified upholstery. Optionally available are the heated windscreen, three-spoke steering wheel and sport seats. Volvo’s IntelliSafe system is also available at an additional cost.

Let’s not forget about the V60 Plug-In Hybrid which uses a 5-cylinder, 2.4-liter diesel engine working together with a small electric motor. It will do the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 6.1 seconds and has a fuel consumption of only 1.8 liters / 100 km (156.9 mpg UK or 130.6 mpg US), with CO2 emissions of just 48 g/km. The car is able to run in electric mode for up to 31 miles (50 km).

The rest of the engine lineup includes only turbocharged mills, with output varying from 150 HP and going all the way up to 304 HP for the gasoline ones. Diesels range from 115 HP to 215 HP.
