Volvo introduces XC60 Ocean Race

Swedish automaker Volvo has taken the wraps off the 2015MY XC60 Ocean Race at the Miami International Auto Show. The model is scheduled to go on sale in a short while and will be wearing an Ocean Blue II metallic paint along with bespoke 18-inch alloy wheels and “Ocean Race” front fender emblems. Most of the changes have occurred on the inside where there’s black or blonde leather upholstery featuring contrasting orange stitching. Other goodies include Volvo Ocean Race badging, unique floor mats with orange stitching along with “Volvo Ocean Race” sill plates.

It can be ordered with a front-wheel drive system receiving the power from a four-cylinder T6 2.0-liter Drive-E turbocharged and supercharged engine developing 302 bhp and 295 lb-ft. Opt for the all-wheel drive model and you get a larger six-cylinder T6 3.0-liter turbocharged engine developing 300 bhp and 325 lb-ft of torque.

Volvo has announced pricing for the 2015 XC60 Ocean Race kicks off at $42,100.
