Callaway has disclosed plans to supercharge the 2014 Chevrolet SS which as you certainly remember is motivated by a V8 6.2-liter engine. The main modification is the adoption of a TVS supercharger, together with a high-flow intake system and an intercooler. Aside from these changes, Callaway has installed a “low restriction” exhaust and new fuel injectors. From a design point of view, the only noticeable changes would have to be the embroidered floor mats and the typical Callaway badging. Other than that, the tuning program also encompasses a special key fob together with “authenticity documentation.”
After the hardware changes are implemented, the 2014 Chevrolet SS by Callaway is capable of outputting no less than 570 bhp (425 kW) and 724 Nm (535 lb-ft) of torque. The vehicle will need just 4.5 seconds to get from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) and can run the quarter mile in around 12.4s at 110 mph (177 km/h).
